Craig Bromell served as a member of the Toronto Police Service for 26 years, where he held the position of Chief Steward of the 51 Division in Toronto for six years and President of the Toronto Police Association from 1997–2003. During his tenure with the Toronto Police Service, Craig became the Director of the National Association Professional Police and Director of the Canadian Police Association. Craig was inducted into the Canadian Police Association’s Hall of Honour in 2006 for his outstanding service. After leaving active police duty, Craig began a successful career as a radio host and TV producer. In 2012, Craig launched the Building Union of Canada, a construction union rebuilding the confidence of the union experience in Canada, where he currently serves as President. In 2016, Craig published a memoir titled COPFATHER: The Craig Bromell Story.
