Senior Director Operations, FSS


The Senior Director Operations FSS (Financial Security Services) will be a key member of the Operations Leadership team reporting to Vice President Operations 3 Sixty. The Senior Director Operations will provide operational leadership, direction, and P&L ownership for all the Canadian branches.

Specifically, this position will assist the 3 Sixty VP Operations in the achievement of short, medium and long-term business and financial goals assigned. The incumbent will be the senior operations lead for the Financial Security Services (FSS) division in Canada.


  • Provide strategy and operational leadership to all branches, ensuring that 3Sixty FSS customer’s service expectations are exceeded while ensuring process consistency, internal quality, safety and security;
  • Drive the deployment of productivity and efficiency initiatives to improve operating margins and customer satisfaction by utilizing LEAN methodology and tools;
  • Ensure alignment and implementation of Balanced Scorecard approach to optimize branch capabilities, process and improve margins;
  • Stay up-to-date on market and competitor trends in order to develop an operational strategy which will help the Company meet its overall business plan and strategy;
  • Provide leadership, direction, and coaching a team of Operational: Directors, Branch Managers, Supervisors, and unionized staff in all areas of operations including: Vault, Dispatch, Control room and Guards;
  • Manage Labour relations in a unionized environment;
  • Lead and promote the safety and security of all 3Sixty FSS employees within the Division;
  • Support people development to all employees and build a bench of future operational leaders within Division;
  • Ensure all field branches remain compliant according to 3Sixty FSS contracts;
  • Champion and build 3Sixty FSS brand and reputation in the market as a forerunner in the logistics and transportation industry;
  • Work with business development on product and innovation activities;
  • Support business development activities and participate in developing and maintaining strategic relationships with key Financial Institutions and Retail customers;
  • Assist in developing, piloting, and implementing new cash supply chain service offerings and solutions.


  • B.A. /B.S. required and Masters degree preferred;
  • At least 7 years of experience leading logistics operations;
  • Minimum of 5 years management experience;
  • 2-3 years managing branch profit and loss and key performance indicators;
  • Excellent and clearly demonstrated leadership, business and overall management skills;
  • Skillful communicator who delivers clear and effective verbal and written messages;
  • Strong facilitation and negotiating skills;
  • Flexible and adaptable to a demanding and fast-paced work environment;
  • Ability to pass applicable firearms licensing requirements;
  • Willingness to travel within Division 40-70%.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in ACC cash handling industry or retail/financial cash management;
  • Excellent knowledge of the CIT / ATM business and customer needs;
  • Excellent knowledge of a Labour relations environment;
  • Excellent knowledge of customer service fulfilment;
  • Excellent knowledge in process improvement methodologies

  • The ideal candidate will be a strategic operational leader with significant experience managing complex operations in the logistics or supply chain related industries. Proven expertise in LEAN / Six-Sigma and a track record of streamline processes to positively impact margins is required.
